Dokscef 100

Composition: One tablet contains: active substance – cefpodoxime of micronized proxetil 130.00 mg (equivalent to cefpodoxime 100.00 mg); cefpodoxime of micronized proxetil 260.89 mg (equivalent to cefpodoxime 200.00 mg).

Dosage: Tablets are taken orally during meals to enhance absorption. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the disease and is determined individually. For adults and children aged 12 years and older with normal kidney function

Indications: Infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug; infections of the ENT organs (including acute otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis); for the treatment of tonsillitis and pharyngitis, Doxcef is prescribed in the case of chronic or recurrent infection, as well as with known or suspected resistance of the pathogen to widely used antibiotics; respiratory tract infections (including acute bronchitis or bronchiolitis complicated by bacterial superinfection, relapses or exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, bacterial pneumonia); uncomplicated upper and lower urinary tract infections (including acute cystitis and pyelonephritis); skin and soft tissue infections (abscess, infected wounds, furuncle, folliculitis, purulent inflammation of the periarticular roller – paronychia, carbuncle); uncomplicated gonococcal urethritis.
