Dokscef Suspen

Composition: Every 5 ml of the reconstituted suspension contains: the active substance of cefpodoxime proxetil F. USA equivalent to cefpodokim 50 mg and 100 mg.

Dosage: Doxcef suspension is intended for use in pediatrics. The prepared suspension is taken orally during meals to enhance absorption. Children aged 5 months to 12 years are prescribed at a dose of 10 mg / kg of body weight per day (the maximum daily dose is 400 mg), used in 2 doses with an interval of 12 hours (the maximum single dose is 200 mg). The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the disease and is determined individually.

Indications: Lower respiratory tract infections – pneumonia, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis; infections of the skin and its structures uncomplicated infections of the skin and skin structures; upper respiratory tract infections – acute otitis, pharyngitis and / or tonsillitis; urinary tract infections uncomplicated urinary tract infections (cystitis).
